Warranty, payment and service policies for Better Call Hall LLC, a 100% mobile auto repair service based in Ojai, CA.
Warranty
All new parts installed by Better Call Hall LLC are covered by a 1-year or 12,000-mile parts and labor warranty, whichever comes first, unless something different is stated on your work order and final invoice. Any specific exclusions or changes to this standard warranty are written on the final invoice.
- Warranties are non-transferable.
- Off-road vehicles and specialty equipment service are excluded from warranty coverage, because of the extreme use they're designed for.
- All warranty work must be performed by Better Call Hall LLC.
- Coverage is void in cases of neglect, abuse, vehicle modification, or failure to keep up with standard ongoing maintenance. That includes, for example, not keeping engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant or differential fluid at proper levels after service; driving while the vehicle is overheating; driving on flat or improperly inflated tires; or continuing to drive after a dashboard warning light, fluid leak or abnormal mechanical symptom shows up.
- Better Call Hall LLC isn't liable for damage caused by continuing to drive a vehicle after a malfunction occurs. If something seems wrong, stop driving and call.
- Customer-supplied parts carry no warranty of any kind — not on how they work, fit, how safe they are or how long they last. If a part you supplied fails, you're responsible for the labor costs to diagnose, remove and replace it.
What we don't do
Better Call Hall LLC is a specialized mobile repair service. As a policy, it does not perform internal repairs on engines, transmissions or differentials.
What it does specialize in: external engine systems and components, drivelines, suspension, steering, braking systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, chassis, and peripheral components.
If a diagnosis shows that internal engine, transmission or differential repair is needed, the repair will be declined and you'll be gladly referred to a reputable fixed-location shop.
Payment
Payment is due in full when the service is completed. Accepted payment methods:

Labor & estimates
- Every service order has a one-hour minimum labor charge.
- Estimated and quoted repair times aren't just the time spent turning wrenches. They include research, parts sourcing, parts pickup and delivery, and an allowance for problems that come up during the job, such as severe rust, corrosion, or disassembly and reassembly obstacles.
Working on-site
- If you request service at an apartment complex, residential community, public parking lot, commercial property or leased property, you're confirming that you're allowed to have mobile repairs done there. You're responsible for following HOA rules, lease agreements, property management restrictions and local ordinances, including any penalties, towing fees or citations that come from work done at that location.
- Please provide a safe, level, clear and lawful place to work, with pets secured and no hazards.
- Work may be stopped right away if the workspace is unsafe or if other people interfere with the repair. Diagnostic fees still apply.
- Better Call Hall LLC isn't responsible for delays caused by parts being unavailable, shipping delays from suppliers, or weather that makes outdoor repair unsafe.
- Better Call Hall LLC isn't responsible for loss or damage to the vehicle, or anything left inside it, from fire, theft, vandalism, accidents, extreme weather or other causes beyond its direct control.
Taking care of your property
Catch pans, protective tarps and vacuum fluid extraction equipment are used to prevent damage during on-site service. If fluid is ever accidentally spilled, reasonable efforts will be made to clean it up. Some automotive fluids can permanently discolor concrete, asphalt or stone driveways and surfaces, and Better Call Hall LLC isn't liable for staining that can't reasonably be removed.
Communication & approvals
- If you give a mobile number or email address, you agree to receive texts or emails about your vehicle's service.
- Additional repairs, cost changes or parts-and-labor changes you approve by text, email or phone count the same as a signed approval. Every approval is documented with the time, date, your name, and the estimated parts and labor on the final invoice.
Full terms are provided on your work order and invoice.
